About ccflo.com

What is ccflo?

CCFLO actually stands for See Chris Flores. Originally, cflo was a nickname originally given to me by a group of middle school students to differentiate me from 3 other adults also named Chris on staff. Although I would have prefered cflo.com as a domain name, it was either 1) already taken or 2) is owned by a domain troll. What is a domain troll you ask? It is an individual or company that buys desireable domain names and sells them at ridiculous prices. If you look up ccflo.com, you'll find that it is available for sale by owner. Click on that link and you'll see that cflo.com costs $15,625! I'll stick to ccflo.com for $12 a year, thankyouverymuch.

I meant, what is the ccflo site about?

I had a lot of plans, and it has changed over the years. I have owned a few domains and although they all had their differences, their purpose has generally been the same, to market myself. As I venture into my first quarter of my adult working life, assuming that I still retire at around 65-70, some interests have changed, some new questions come up, and some things are made concrete.

Interests Have Changed

Although I still love to *think* I love tennis, I hardly make time for it anymore. That goes for the other racquet sports I enjoyed playing including table tennis and badminton. Even, gasp, biking has taken second place to running and motorcycling.

New Questions

What is the meaning of life? Just joking! Now that on paper it appears I am "stable", what challenges do I tackle on next? Is it really new family time already?

Made Concrete

I love my wife, my friends, and my family. And... Although I have been snowboarding for several years now, I can safely say that this year was really fun. With the peaking of my skills as an all around mountain rider, I began exploring the park. With gradual progression and a new board, I am now in love with the park, doing jumps, riding boxes, jibbing and buttering!
